your questions answered

We understand that you may have questions regarding our services and so we have included a list that seeks to address the most commonly asked questions! If additional information is still required, please feel free to contact us regarding any inquires.

  • Do I need a referral to be seen?
No you do not! Here at Moveo Performance we practice direct access. In Texas, a physician referral is no longer needed to access physical therapy services for evaluation and treatment for up to 10-15 business days. This means that you can access our services without unnecessary delays and thus timely, more effective care!
  • Do you accept my insurance?
We accept the majority of insurances. Please click our Learn More button under our Insurance Policies section on this page to see a specific list of all the insurances we accept.
  • Can I still access your services if I don't have insurance?
Absolutely! You can still gain access to our services and expertise through our cash-based system. Information regarding our bundle and single visit rates are available upon request.
  • Do you offer manual therapy services (ex. Myofascial Cupping, Dry Needling, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilizations) on its own?
We do not offer services a la carte. Manual therapy should not be seen as a quick fix for a particular injury or condition. We firmly believe in addressing the root cause of your problem through the combination of manual therapy including exercise which has the greatest benefit in allowing you to recover faster and return to your desired level of activity, whether that's a recreational sport/activity or your everyday tasks!
  • Are walk-ins accepted?
We normally operate under an appointment-based service. However, we will do our best to accommodate your specific needs and attempt to schedule you ASAP, whether that is a same-day or next-day appointment.
  • What should I expect on the first visit?
You'll be greeted and addressed promptly by our therapists including our front desk administrative. We take payments for the session up-front prior to treatment, and when ready, our therapists will guide you along your rehabilitation session.
  • How long does recovery typically take?
Each person has their own unique history which affects the timeline of recovery for a specific injury or condition. Thus, providing a specific timeline of recovery is difficult to ascertain. However, what we typically see is that our clients tend to feel better immediately following the initial evaluation with steady improvements following each consecutive treatment session. A typical timeline of recovery seems to be within a couple of days to a few weeks or a couple of months depending on the severity of the injury.
  • How long will my sessions last?
Typically, your rehabilitation service will last up to an hour. This is to allow for an effective rehabilitation session which will cover all basis of care that suits your specific needs.
  • What should I wear?
Our facility is engineered in a way to promote movement. Thus, workout attire that allows you to move freely and effectively is strongly encouraged!
