Physical Therapist Assistant

Alexis Cantu is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from South Texas College in May 2025. Before pursuing his PTA degree, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) in 2021. With a strong foundation in movement science and a special interest in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, Alexis is passionate about helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Outside of patient care, Alexis stays active through regular workouts and playing a variety of sports. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing new places, which fuels his energy and passion for life both in and out of the clinic.

Alexis is dedicated to creating a positive and encouraging environment for every patient, blending his clinical knowledge with his love for an active lifestyle to support recovery and long-term wellness.
